Dear ELAG members,

It was a great pleasure that Mr. Jean-Frédéric Jauslin, director of the Swiss National Library, invited us to come and discuss at the 27th ELAG Library Systems seminar "Cross language applications and the WEB". This meeting has taken place from 2 to 4 April 2003, in Bern, the capital of Switzerland where as you know many languages are in use so it was a particularly appropriate venue for this topic.
